From Managing Musicians to Mac & Cheese Mogul
Chef Teach, a.k.a Derrick Turton, shifted from managing music artists to launching World Famous House of Mac in Miami. Renowned for his exceptional mac and cheese, he's a go-to for rap icons like Yo Gotti, N.O.R.E., and Bun B. Turton's culinary odyssey began in the 90s with culinary school, where he discovered a deep connection to the kitchen. Initially, he ventured into music promotion. However, after his father's passing in 2013, he refocused his energy on cooking with newfound determination.

Always Growing and Adapting
In 2015, he launched his food truck in Wynwood, Miami, featuring a range of eclectic dishes like pizza mac and cheese, mango pepper chicken wings, and jerk salmon pasta. Despite facing challenges, Turton's dedication to his craft and innovation, like a speedy cheese-melter, has helped him build a thriving eatery. His willingness to adapt, honed from his years in the music industry, continues to serve him well in the culinary world.
